Resolved Question: What should I do to improve at Golf?
I am a junior at my club age 14 I play scratch on 9 holes and around 16 round 18 (yes not that amazing =/) anyways at my club there are some really good juniors who are like 12 and play off 8 round 18 or less and they get a lot of attention with the coaches etc.. yet if I apply for coaching I usually get turned down =/ (the kids who are good have parents who run the club)
anyway too the point I wondered how I could get better at golf so I could be as good as the rest since its hard to find a coach who actually teaches you stuff and treats you like an adult rather than teaching you as if you are 5 (this is harsh I know but seriously this is how coaches usually treat me =/) but if you know any drills or tips so that I can improve that would be amazing =D my golf clubs are custom fitted (bought them myself after saving up for them =D) and now that I have them I really want to put the effort in and eventually maybe when im 20 become a professional and join the PGA tour (yeah there is not much hope but im gonna really try) I have already been playing for about 4 years (yeah its sad my handicap is 16 round 18 and iv been playing that long =( but im sure if I practice I can bring it down =D)
so thanks for you time guys =D
PS details and stuff incase you need them
